My newest book!

A Ride To Remembrance
an LDS Romance novel by Denise Wahlquist

When Kelly loses her memory she must put her trust in the man who rescued her, a big biker named Duke. With no idea who she is, she slowly begins to find her way through the void she feels in her heart to find love, friendship and a secure relationship with God. When her future is halted by her previous identity, she faces her biggest challenge of all: how to secure the promises of her new life and still renew her past. Can they exist together? Or must she give one up to have the other?

Support Your Local Supporter!

I have the best support system in the world! Whenever I want to do anything, my best friend and hunky husband is right there to give me the boost I need. I am truly blessed!
While writing my first book Lee was there to listen to the story and help me perfect it, to fix dinner or get the kids to bed when I was obsessing (writing and not wanting to stop, that is!) and he is there for me again as I write the next one. Big cheers and many kudos for the guy who gives me everything I need! If it weren't for his help, I'd probably never finish this book!
His ideas are scattered throughout my work, but not in direct ways. When I had trouble with a confrontation scene he handed me a Louis L'Amour book, opened to the page I needed to read, and said "read this." As I read the scene in the other book, it helped me fine tune the scene in my own book. As I gave him all the ideas I had for the book before I started writing, he was the sounding board that listened and the idea man who helped me figure out the things I wanted to do with my characters and story. Now you know why I dedicated my first book to him. And why everything I ever do in my life will be dedicated to him. Thanks, Lee, for being more than you need to be! You are my Christopher and my Niko.

Getting there...

The road to "fame" is slow but I am moving along a little at a time. Not that I want to be famous, but it would be nice to get my book out there where more people can read it. After all, that's why I wrote it!
The Nephi, Utah Library was the first to get one of my books and I hope there are many people wanting to read it in that fun, little town. Just last week the Rexburg, Idaho Library bought two of my books and when my husband looked in the library's computer catalog, it had been checked out! How exciting! I hope that whoever was the first to check it out enjoys it and that many others will want to read it as well. Thank you, everyone, for your support! It's been a long journey, but worth the ride! And I'm still pushing along...

Copies, anyone?

If you haven't purchased my first book and would like to, I have a few copies on hand. They are much cheaper through me than directly through the publisher. They want 29.95. I have them for 15. Let me know and I can send you whatever you need! Leave a comment with your email address and I will write you for your mailing address. Or write directly to tymberfeld@gmail.com
Thanks!

Proof positive

Just a little sneak peak at the next book ... and proof that I am really writing something!

Me, working hard on the next book...

Yes, it's true, I have been working on a sequel to "Tymberfeld." It is about 3/4 of the way done and will be called "Tymberfeld 2: Knights of Galaden." Compared to the first book it will be a little more adventurous, at least that is what I hope. My writing skills have improved and that is evident in the second book but I think it will still be easy enough to read and just as fun as the first one. While the first book focuses on Stephanie and Christopher, this one focuses on many others. The storyline spreads to the other people in the land of Tymberfeld as well as the original main characters. There are a few new ones and a couple returning ones ... I have a couple "editors" reviewing the book and hope to be hearing feedback from them soon on how the story is going. I've already changed a few things since I printed up the editing version, so even they may be a little surprised by the time it is all done.

Welcome to the Tymberfeld Blog!

So here it is - my Tymberfeld blog! I am so excited that you want to share the adventures of this book with me and keep up on the current world of Tymberfeld news! Come here often and find out what's happening. Please participate in surveys, comments, thoughts, reviews and everything you can. It will only be helpful to me, the author, and to other fans of the book. My only request is that you keep things nice and don't give away too many of the book's events; some people haven't read the entire thing yet...
